Hi. If you’re not familiar with what Stump Grinding is refer to one of my earlier posts. Stump Grinding is important in our area because stumps are a tripping hazard, not to mention a good way to damage your mower blade.
Stumps also attract pests. Over my 15 years in this business I have ran into a few pests including nests of yellow jackets, snakes, ant nests, and just recently a nest of mice. I try to save the warm blooded pests, but sadly the insect nests are destroyed.
Most of these you don’t want to draw near your home. Sure, you can wait 3-10 years for the stump to rot, but as they rot that’s when they attract pests.
